Here is the official communicate from the organizers to all the Streetboard scene about the Streetboard World Championship 2007.
 

Hey guys, hey Streetboarders.

The annual World Championship will be hold in Germany this year. Max, Thomas, Uli and I already started to organize this event at the end of last year, but our favourite location at Berlin didn’t match our financial situation. Thus, we decided to carry out Worlds at Hamburg, which is the 2nd largest city in Germany.The skate hall is downtown and next to the biggest harbor in Europe.

Dates: 23.8.-25.8.2007
Disciplines: Vert, Bowl (Oververt), Street, Flybox, Best Trick.

Our aim is to gain reputation for our championships and our sport not only in the Skate Hall as such, but also in Hamburg and the area close by.
For all the guys comming from further away and abroad we are planning to do a sightseeing trip (5-7 days to the capital of Germany) in order to make it a well remembered trip for everyvody.

According to the fact that we just fixed our location at Hamburg last week, we don’t have any big sponsors yet. So the most instant issue is to create a solid financial base, which unfortunately has to be supported in part by the streetboard scene itself. Ositos just did the begining. Now it’s up to you to make the championship a successful and representative event.

I’am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible and would like to know how many of you guys are planning to support us with our World Championship 2007 Hamburg, Germany.
