We just received and update from Highland’s president and owner, Neil Thomson.
They are organizing a series of competitions called Rolling Dead, and they also have a tour going on.

* Rolling Dead Competition Series - running all year
We are running a competition series called “The Rolling Dead” these comps are going to be held monthly with regional winner and points being awarded to each rider at each competition. The points will go towards the leader board and the rider with the most points at the end of the year wins. Riders get 10 points for a win. 9 points for 2nd place and so on.
The Next competition is being held at Adrenaline Alley in Corby on the 4th of August with competitions in Launch Ramp, Rail / Ledge and Rhythm Section. In each completion the riders will get 3 tryst at their best trick with the best trick scoring. In the rhythm section riders will get two runs across the section and the best run counts. The competition kicks off at 3 PM.

7. UK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2007 – Epic Skatepark
Rolling Dead Competition Tour
1. The competitions will have advanced and amateur categories.
2. This will be the first ever Streetboard competition series in the UK
3. The format will be that all competitors are judged riding the Street Course at each Skatepark.
4. Judges will be looking for: Use of course; Style, Technical ability; Airs
5. At each competition there will be a regional winner.
6. There will be a league table on the Streetboard UK Website showing the current scores.
7. At the final competition of the year the scores of all the competitors from all the competitions will be added up to find an overall champion.
8. The Scoring System for the League is as follows:
1st Place = 10 Points
2nd Place = 9 Points
3rd Place = 8 Points
4th Place = 7 Points
5th Place = 6 Points
6th Place = 5 Points
7th Place = 4 Points
8th Place = 3 Points
9th Place = 2 Points
10th Place = 1 Points
*Riders placing outside the top 10 will receive no points.
* The Streetboard UK Summer Tour - Starting 4th of August

This year Highland Streetboards & Streetboard UK have organised a summer tour of all the top skate spots in England.
The Us top riders will be touring the spots in a mini bus driven by me with Max Anderson, Alex Wheeler, Jon White, Simon Johns, Dom Ebel and Colin Horan along for the ride.
The rough plan so far is as follows:
Saturday
Start in London. Early start to arrive at Adrenaline Alley for about Pam for a Rolling Dead Competition. Leave towards Birmingham and a campsite on route.
Sunday
Head to Epic Skatepark for a session & then towards Stoke Plaza in the evening ready for the next day. Camp somewhere outside Stoke.
Monday
Stoke Plaza all day! Drive to campsite outside town.
Tuesday
Head towards Bristol & Swindon visit ATB Sports in Swindon at about Pam to meet some of the young riders there and do a demo at their park. Motion Skatepark for the evening session. Head on the road towards a campsite.
Wednesday
Drive to Poole / Bournemouth. Check out local skateparks including Kings Park in Bournemouth & Poole beach park. Camp here for the night. Or head along to Brighton to camp
Thursday
Head to Brighton to Skate Street and small park. Camp here for night.
Friday
Head back to London, drop people off where they want to go, small session at Bay66, return Mini Bus, PARTY!
