Streetboarding.com and Vertical Rider of France are holding our first contest of the summer. It’s easy to get in on the action and it will last the entire month of May.
The only thing’s you need are a video camera, streetboard and access to youtube.
Tight on cash and looking to pick up the latest Sergi or Gotthard signature board or hoping to get your hands on a Highland Cartel or a Grosso model? Now’s your chance
Rules: Yes, there are a few:
- Film yourself streetboarding for 30 seconds or more and upload your clips to Youtube
- Clips can be anything, teaching, cruising, downhill, rails, anything. So long as you are riding
- Include www.streetboarding.com in the text description of each of the videos you upload
- Once your video is up place a link to your video in our forum that is designated for this contest. Here
Tips:
The more videos you upload the better chances you have to win
Winner:
The winners will be selected (At the end of May) at random from the forum post. (Note: quality, tricks, etc do not matter.)
Prize:
1st Prize = Any streetboard in our store.
2nd Prize = $50 discount coupon code for our store
3rd Prize = $25 discount coupon code for our store

It’s New, it’s BIG… It’s Mini!
It’s the Mini Mega Ramp!
Arkive Skateshop is hosting the 1st stop of the Utah Big Air Series featuring the Mini Mega Ramp. This is a 5 stop series with the championship in Sept later this year.
We will be kicking this sucka off at 12-noon Saturday May 2nd, and rolling til it gets dark around 8pm. Open jam starting at Noon, Skateboard contest at 3, Streetboard contest at 5. Tons of sponsors, tons of prizes and of course you get to ride the biggest Mini Mega ramp in Utah!

Josh Mick, President of Dimension Streetboards, has put together a team that is participating in the 15th Annual Bay Area Brain Tumor Walk. On May 2nd, Team Mick will be walking and showing support for the Brain Cancer Community. So far, they have raised more than $2,500 to help fund research to find a cure.
