Mr. Jay Nowman just revealed the meaning of the mysterious BiB:
“In 2004, the most legendary Streetboard contest ever was held, Blood on Concrete. Riding reached levels never before
seen. Five years on, it’s time once again for Streetboarding to move back to its roots. We will move from the dark, lifeless
world of the skatepark and back onto concrete, we’re going back to the scene of the crime, we’re coming back, Back in
Blood.
If you would like to ride, places are limited. Invites will be sent out, those who have not yet received one, please apply for a
wild card by emailing info@redpenmag.com.
Make sure you start to book your flights, this is going to be one of the biggest events of the year. Its sits in at the beginning
of a 3 week European streak of events- Followed by NASS (all details to be announced soon) and then the East side Clash.

“This year, the UK will have a whole host of events. The first of
these will be the first stop of the CSI tour: Streetboard Til You Die!
This event will take place on 24th Jan in Bristol. We will be
skating all of the local concrete parks and ending up at the newly
refurbished Motion Indoor park. After the riding is done, prizes
will be handed out to the most gnarliest, and we will be treated to
the aural delights of Frenetica - Bristol’s finest up-and-coming band.

August 8th, 2008 - Alex Wheeler, Andy Garret, Colin Horan, Jay Nowman, Jon White, Paul Nash, Sergi Nicolas, Simon Johns. 1 Comment“On the 16th and 17th August there will be a Streetboard contest being held at the X-beach festival in Belgium.
The Saturday will see a Best Trick Contest and Sunday will be a Street Contest. Every rider will get 3 tries each for Best Trick and the Street Contest will be the best of 2 x 1 minute runs plus one last trick. For directions to the event check www.xbeach.be.
