We had the chance to talk with Valentino, a.k.a Peto. This new young rider is really pushing the limits of street skating, and with virtually no coverage and isolated from the international scene he has reached a level that would surprise most Pro’s
- Alright man, for those who don’t know you, name, age and hometown.
Peto: My name is Valentina Barbuzza, Im 18 years old and I’m from Mendoza Argentina and I have been skating for four years now.
- So how did you start Streetboarding?
Peto: I started Streetboarding after I saw a TV show featuring Pipo Grosso and Diego Romero, and since then I haven’t been able to stop.

- From the pictures you sent, you skate mostly Street. What is your favorite terrain to skate?
Peto: There are no Skateparks in my city, so I skate 100% Street, and we have the best spots here, its amazing.
- Your level is really impressive, how do you push yourself to improve?
Peto: I usually skate with skaters, so my main motivation comes from Streetboard videos.

- Who are the riders that motivate you to improve?
Peto: I get a lot of my ideas and inspiration from Ismael Calvo and Nicolas Frega.
- Being isolated in a way from the international scene, what are your goals within the sport?
Peto: Well, right now I’m the Argentinian Amateur champion, so I want to start competing in the Pro division. I would also like to travel and meet all this riders I only see in videos, also I would like to get more sponsors and keep representing for Grosso.

- Alright dude, any final words?
Peto: I would like to thank my family, my girlfriend, my sponsor Grosso Boards and especially Pipo Grosso for all the support.
- Awesome dude, thanks a lot!
